Tyler and I decided that every year we are going to make it a tradition to watch It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. We watched it last year but Jackson wasn't old enough to care about it, however this year he really liked it. Tyler and Jax layed on the floor and watch almost the whole show.

Catch Up Time
It seems like everything has been so crazy lately. After work, cooking, cleaning, and spending time with my family I don't have time to blog but I'm going to attempt to catch up. When i looked at my sister in law Liz's blog it made me realize i need to do a better job, she has an awesome blog. I'm warning you this one is going to be long, but here goes...
Tyler has done such a great job at work and here is some of his awards and certifications he has got in less then a year. Jackson and I are so proud of him.
Here's some pics that I like of Jackson and that are more recent. Hes getting so big and talking and copying everything we say, which isn't always a good thing :)
he love, love, loves cowboy hats
daddy helped him put his gun on a chain and he was thrilled
loves playing the piano at granny and grandpas
I love this one, giving his dog a drink
he really likes laying on the bottom shelf of his cousin Devonees changing tableA pic we had done at the fair, we try to do one every year
In the beginning of October we also took Jax to the fair. We all had a blast that's for sure. Jackson had a blast looking at everything and he wanted to get on every ride but unfortunately hes not quite big enough yet, but he still got on a few and played a few games. When we got home and got Jax to bed Tyler and I talked and we both agreed this was the best year we have ever went to the fair just for the fact that we had Jax.
He loved the carousel. He rode it more then once.

He loves animals and had fun seeing the cows and sheep

Jackson's First Haircut
So today Jackson got his first haircut. We got to the salon and we were waiting for Alicia (the girl who cut his hair) to get there and Jax was just as happy as can be just walking around and playing. Then Alicia got there and we set him up in the chair and he was fine for like 30 seconds and then he started crying. So I picked him up and we tried to spray his hair to get it wet and he didn't want to have anything to do with that. I finally got him calmed down and I held him while she cut his hair and then he wanted my mom to hold him so nana took a turn at holding him. Eventually we got it done and he was happy again after we left and stopped by to see daddy at work and then got home and he got a cookie. I can't get over how much older he looks. It makes me sad to know hes growing up so fast, but just because he doesn't look like our little boy anymore doesn't mean hes not.

Summers finally here
We are very glad that its starting to warm up so that we can get out and do things. Last week Tyler, Jackson, and I went and hung out with a few of our friends and their kids at the fairgrounds. It was fun feeding the ducks and watching our kids play together.

Officer Attaway
The program from the graduation. The two pictures on it Tyler helped design.
Today Tyler graduated to become a detention officer. He put in alot of time and effort for this. He was kinda the class rep. he designed the class shirts and took care of everything they needed. Jackson and I couldn't be more proud of him. They had a pot luck yesterday for the graduating cadets and their families, Tyler, Jackson, Jacque, and I all went to. Everyone that we met had nothing but nice things to say about Tyler. They are all very impressed with him and it was very nice to hear.
Training for the academy
This is the taser prongs that went into his back
Tyler has been doing the online academy to become a detention officer and in the last week he had to do the physical part and these are his battle scares. I don't know how he did it but he did.
These are Tyler's wounds from the pepperball gun. These ones are on his back.
