Halloween

Tyler and I decided that every year we are going to make it a tradition to watch It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. We watched it last year but Jackson wasn't old enough to care about it, however this year he really liked it. Tyler and Jax layed on the floor and watch almost the whole show.

And this year Jax even like helping with carving the pumpkin, more then last year

Being a big helper (how they grow up so fast)

Me with my lil boy

Tyler and Jax showing me their pumpkin

All done, good job boys!!!!

Our little transformer on Halloween
So this halloween was alot of fun even tho Jackson was getting sick. At first he wasn't to sure about trick or treating, since he is pretty shy with strangers, but after a few houses and him seeing the kids he just wanted to keep going and he really enjoyed it.

Catch Up Time

It seems like everything has been so crazy lately. After work, cooking, cleaning, and spending time with my family I don't have time to blog but I'm going to attempt to catch up. When i looked at my sister in law Liz's blog it made me realize i need to do a better job, she has an awesome blog. I'm warning you this one is going to be long, but here goes...
Tyler has done such a great job at work and here is some of his awards and certifications he has got in less then a year. Jackson and I are so proud of him.
These 2 are his most recent, he received these last month at the end of the year fish dinner banquet

Here's some pics that I like of Jackson and that are more recent. Hes getting so big and talking and copying everything we say, which isn't always a good thing :)

he love, love, loves cowboy hats

daddy helped him put his gun on a chain and he was thrilled

my little cowboy
loves playing the piano at granny and grandpas

I love this one, giving his dog a drink

he really likes laying on the bottom shelf of his cousin Devonees changing table

horsey rides with dad

riding the horse at aunt Ashlee's house

Yes that is a tomato, he loves them! He was sitting on the counter when I was making dinner and I turned away for a minute, then turned back to look at him and just picked it up and was eating it.
Hes so funny. He was crying and whining and I didn't know what he wanted, he kept pointing to the counter so I set him by his pumpkin and that's exactly what he wanted, just to sit by it and watch TV.

Jax and his cousin Fayelynn eating yogurt together. Shes actually a month older then him, but hes quite a bit bigger then her.

This is one of his favorite things, to get into daddy's truck.

A pic we had done at the fair, we try to do one every year

In the beginning of October we also took Jax to the fair. We all had a blast that's for sure. Jackson had a blast looking at everything and he wanted to get on every ride but unfortunately hes not quite big enough yet, but he still got on a few and played a few games. When we got home and got Jax to bed Tyler and I talked and we both agreed this was the best year we have ever went to the fair just for the fact that we had Jax.

Here's the sponge bob that Jax won himself, he was so proud of himself, as were we.

He loved the carousel. He rode it more then once.

He loves animals and had fun seeing the cows and sheep

We went to Tucson to see my sister and her family just for a couple hours and on the way back Jackson was getting a little restless, so we decided to stop at The Thing. We decided to take Jax through the "the thing" and to our suprise he really enjoyed it.
He was very fascinated

Telling us to "hurry" and "come on" as we were going from one building to another

Jackson's First Haircut

So today Jackson got his first haircut. We got to the salon and we were waiting for Alicia (the girl who cut his hair) to get there and Jax was just as happy as can be just walking around and playing. Then Alicia got there and we set him up in the chair and he was fine for like 30 seconds and then he started crying. So I picked him up and we tried to spray his hair to get it wet and he didn't want to have anything to do with that. I finally got him calmed down and I held him while she cut his hair and then he wanted my mom to hold him so nana took a turn at holding him. Eventually we got it done and he was happy again after we left and stopped by to see daddy at work and then got home and he got a cookie. I can't get over how much older he looks. It makes me sad to know hes growing up so fast, but just because he doesn't look like our little boy anymore doesn't mean hes not.

So happy when we were waiting
Just sat him down

Finally got his hair wet and started cutting

All our lil boys curls

Happy to be home and get a cookie

Summers finally here

We are very glad that its starting to warm up so that we can get out and do things. Last week Tyler, Jackson, and I went and hung out with a few of our friends and their kids at the fairgrounds. It was fun feeding the ducks and watching our kids play together.

The four kids: Nash, Bella, Jackson, and Jaycee
I love this pic of Jackson and Tyler ( For some reason it was blurry but I still love it)

This is when I took him to the park, he loves the slides

Taking a break from playing and drinking a capri-sun just sitting on the bench. When I look at this picture I'm still amazed how big he has gotten and makes me alittle sad that my little boy is growing up.

This picture is just a very good picture of him.

Officer Attaway

The program from the graduation. The two pictures on it Tyler helped design.
Tyler's badges and his United States Marshall coin the Marshall of Arizona gave him.

Today Tyler graduated to become a detention officer. He put in alot of time and effort for this. He was kinda the class rep. he designed the class shirts and took care of everything they needed. Jackson and I couldn't be more proud of him. They had a pot luck yesterday for the graduating cadets and their families, Tyler, Jackson, Jacque, and I all went to. Everyone that we met had nothing but nice things to say about Tyler. They are all very impressed with him and it was very nice to hear.

Training for the academy

This is the taser prongs that went into his back

Tyler has been doing the online academy to become a detention officer and in the last week he had to do the physical part and these are his battle scares. I don't know how he did it but he did.

These are Tyler's wounds from the pepperball gun. These ones are on his back.

This one is on his right arm

The two on the lower right of his back are from the pepperball gun and the other two are from the taser prongs
Oh, and Tyler volunteered to do the taser with the prongs he didn't have to. I thought he was crazy but he did very well.
